BR Staining Kit

This dyeing kit is developed for evaluating sperm shapes in the infertility analysis and forensic works, using rags with sperm stains, or a sample of a tampon smeared from a rape case. Black glutinous rice is extracted with water that contains potassium alum, citric acid and ethanol, as a substitute for synthetic dyes imported from abroad and instead of Hematoxylin which is obtained from Log Wood trees. The black glutinious rice-based dye offers similar effect as the synthetic version currently in use – an innovation that benefits society in many ways.
