It is a creative way of preparing Som Tum, or Thai papaya salad, by using modern water extraction process. Just open the sachet, add about half a glass of clean water at room temperature and wait for about 1-2 minutes, then stir thoroughly. The result is a Som Tum similar from the one freshly pounded in a mortar. It has a mellow flavour and comes in three degrees of spiciness – low, medium and high.
